BMW Motorsport - M4 GT4 EVO/M2 CS Racing Rear Hub Upgrade Kit
BMW Motorsport has enhanced the rear hub flange on the M4 GT4 models as part of the 2021 EVO pack in response to the discovery of cracks in the factory production flanges.
The upgraded flanges boast increased thickness overall and eliminate the tabbed hub-centric lip found in the original production series piece. The revised Motorsport part features a comprehensive hub-centric mounting surface, thereby reducing stress. This kit also includes the newly introduced Motorsport wheel bearings. These high-performance bearings utilize larger ball bearings and are equipped with top-tier grease.
The lightweight factory hub may develop cracks on the outer wheel hub centric surface over multiple long, endurance-type events and use. We have not seen any failures on street-driven or lightly-tracked vehicles.
Note that just because this is an updated part from BMW Motorsport and beefier than the original, it's not indestructible and still subject to stress, cracks, and failures.
This is a special order item, meaning it is specifically ordered for you and cannot be cancelled or refunded once the order is placed.
