WHAT IS BOOTMOD3?
bootmod3 or BM3 is a Cloud-based BMW tuning platform with a web-based interface and mobile apps for iOS and Android. Developed and tested in-house from the ground up since its November 2016 debut with new features and update added regularly makes the bootmod3 platform the custom BMW factory DME tuning solution like no other on the market today.
Build the ultimate tune for your S63TU4 powered vehicle and go from stock to full race calibration, and everywhere in between, with a map switch in the provided mobile app. bootmod3 calibrates the factory vehicle modules over the OBD port in a matter of minutes in the convenience of your driveway or anywhere internet access is available.

NEW FEATURES
The latest development includes the addition of the bootmod3 CustomROM features that add advanced end user and tuning features such as:
- Map Switching -On-The-Fly using steering wheel cruise control buttons. Flash the vehicle once and have access to 4 switchable maps on the steering wheel changing the calibration entirely from one map slot to the next.
- Flex Fuel Tuning - Tune for any Ethanol blend by having a Flex Fuel sensor report Ethanol % to the engine control unit (DME) and have it manage the tune from regular petrol (0% Ethanol) to 100%, without re-flashing. The bootmod3 FlexFuel Kit can be found HERE.
- AntiLag - Build boost while stationary or rolling by using steering wheel cruise button press and the Accelerator pedal allowing for instant-boost when roll racing or launching.
- New Map Editor - Advanced tuning editor with close to 5000 tuning tables available.
- Datalogging - Over 80 advanced (RAM) channels and hundreds of others available at highest throughput of any tool available on the market today.
- Ethanol In-Dash Indicator - Software changes applied to the DME to allow checking of your Ethanol content as reported by the Flex Fuel Sensor in the vehicle's dash on the RPM gauge (e.g. 2000rpm = 20% ethanol, 5500rpm = 55% ethanol).

BENCH UNLOCK / FEMTO UNLOCK
All 2019+ S63TU4 models built before June-2020 with November 2019+ BMW software require a bench unlock of the DME before tuning via the OBDII port is possible.
All S63TU4 models built on or after June-2020 require the DME to be removed and sent to FEMTO in Finlandbefore tuning via OBDII port is possible.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU PURCHASE
Your bootmod3 software license purchase by default includes one paid OTS map and you can choose the one most appropriate for your hardware modifications and octane upon license activation. It also includes any other FREE maps listed in the OTS Maps screen.
In case your modifications or octane change or you'd like to try a different OTS map more suited to your needs we offer a OTS Maps Bundle which provides flash access to ALL of the OTS Maps available in the OTS Maps screen for your vehicle.
bootmod3 license and OTS map bundle codes are non-refundable once purchased. Due to the nature of the software and licensing, all sales are final. We recommend ensuring that these products meet your specific tuning needs before making a purchase.
The all-new bootmod3 Wireless OBDII Adapter can be used as an alternative to the traditional ENET cable connection. The bootmod3 Wi-Fi adapter can be purchased separately HERE.
HOW DO I INSTALL BOOTMOD3 ON MY CAR?
Bootmod3 takes less than 5 minutes to install on your vehicle. Detailed instructions for the installation process can be found HERE.
CAN I RE-SELL OR TRANSFER MY LICENSE?
Yes! bootmod3 is the only flash solution where the license can be resold and/or transferred to a new VIN when/if you decide to move on for any reason. Having re-sale value is a great advantage to choosing bootmod3 for your tuning which is NOT available with any other flash tune.
- License transfer is restricted to the original order purchase and buyer. Transferred licenses cannot be transferred more than once.
- Any previously purchased OTS maps and custom tunes by the original buyer are not transferrable due to map data incompatibilities between cars.
- To transfer a license you need to flash the car with the Stock Tune AND DME RELOCKED using bootmod3 interface. Further information on the transfer process can be found here.
