What does the IGL Clay Towel remove?
It removes bonded contamination including overspray, rail dust, industrial fallout and other particles that remain attached to the surface after washing.
Is it reusable?
Yes. Unlike a traditional clay bar, the IGL Clay Towel can be rinsed and reused multiple times when properly cleaned and maintained.
Do I need to use lubricant?
Yes. Always use adequate lubrication between the towel and the vehicle surface.
Can I use it on PPF or vinyl wraps?
Yes. IGL lists the Clay Towel as suitable for PPF and vinyl surfaces when used correctly.
Should I use Iron Remover before the Clay Towel?
Where ferrous contamination is present, using IGL Ecoclean Iron first can chemically remove much of that contamination before mechanical decontamination.
Will claying replace polishing?
No. The Clay Towel removes bonded contamination. Polishing is a separate process used to correct paint defects and refine the finish.
