IGL Ecoshine Tyre – Water-Based Tyre Dressing Gel

IGL Ecoshine Tyre is a water-based, zero-VOC tyre dressing gel designed to condition rubber while restoring a clean, dark and well-maintained appearance.

Its concentrated gel formulation helps minimise product waste and provides a controlled, sling-resistant application without leaving an excessively greasy finish.

Apply a single layer for a more natural satin appearance or build additional product where a glossier finish is preferred.

BEST USED FOR

Ideal as the final stage of wheel and tyre detailing after the tyre has been thoroughly cleaned.

For the cleanest result, remove old dressings, road grime and dirt before application so Ecoshine Tyre can contact the rubber evenly.

GEL APPLICATION

1. Thoroughly clean the tyre sidewall.

2. Allow the tyre to dry.

3. Apply a small amount of Ecoshine Tyre to a foam or suitable tyre applicator.

4. Spread evenly around the tyre sidewall.

5. Leave the dressing to set for approximately 10 minutes before driving.

6. Apply another light layer where a glossier appearance is desired.

SPRAY APPLICATION

Where spray application is preferred, IGL states Ecoshine Tyre can be diluted:

1 part Ecoshine Tyre : 1 part water

Apply only to cosmetic rubber surfaces.

Do not apply to tyre tread or any surface where grip is important.

Is IGL Ecoshine Tyre water based?

Yes. It is a water-based, zero-VOC dressing.

Does it sling onto the paint?

IGL describes the formulation as sling resistant. Correct preparation, thin application and allowing it to set before driving will help minimise sling.

Can I choose between satin and gloss?

Yes. IGL Australia recommends one layer for a satin appearance and an additional layer for more gloss.

Can Ecoshine Tyre be diluted?

Yes. When used as a spray, IGL specifies a 1:1 dilution with water.

Can I use it on tyre tread?

No. Never apply tyre dressing to the tread or other surfaces where grip is important.

Can it be used on faded rubber?

Yes. Conditioning and colour enhancement of weathered rubber are among its intended uses.
