The Radium Engineering 20-0771 Competition Catch Can (CCC) is the extra large, vent-to-atmosphere (VTA) catch can designed to meet and exceed the 1 quart minimum capacity requirements mandated by major motorsport sanctioning bodies including SCCA, NASA, and Formula Drift. With a full 1qt (0.9L / 32 fl oz) capacity and dual 10AN ORB inlets, this is the definitive competition catch can for dual bank (V-engine) applications where maximum capacity is required.
Note: This is a VTA (vent to atmosphere) design. For a competition catch can that recirculates clean air back into the intake (VTE), see Radium 20-0071 and 20-0072. For the Large VTA version, see Radium 20-0772. Existing 20-0772 Large owners can upgrade to this XL version using extension kit 20-0149.
How It Works
The VTA CCC features one giant non-restrictive outlet that is over 183% larger in cross-sectional area than the 10AN inlet inner diameter. This increase in volume slows airflow, allowing oil contaminants to fall out of suspension. A diffuser traps contaminants and allows oil sludge to fall back into the can — preventing overspray in the engine bay. The dual-stage stainless steel filtration media (located in both the inlet and outlet chambers) flows freely without restriction, while providing 46.2% more filtration media than the VTE CCC and 149.7% more than the standard catch can.
Key Features

1qt (32 fl oz) capacity — meets and exceeds SCCA, NASA, and Formula Drift minimum requirements
-
Dual 10AN ORB inlets — two adjacent ports for dual bank (V-engine) crankcase ventilation
-
183%+ larger outlet than inlet ID — slows airflow for maximum contaminant separation
-
Dual-stage stainless steel filtration — inlet and outlet chambers, 46.2% more media than VTE CCC
-
Diffuser design — traps oil sludge in the can, prevents engine bay overspray
-
4AN ORB drain port — bottom-mounted for petcock drain valve (see 20-0024)
-
O-ring sealed dipstick — quick fluid level check without disassembly
-
CNC machined aluminium body — unscrews for easy serviceability and draining
-
360° rotating bracket — full rotation for flexible chassis mounting
- M6x1mm chassis mounting hardware included
