The required interface cable for Race Navigator hard-wired CAN adapter installations.
The Race Navigator RN 12V CAN Cable links the Race Navigator system to a compatible RN CAN adapter. One end connects to the Race Navigator and the other connects to the selected vehicle-specific, OBD-II or inductive CAN adapter.
This is not a standalone data solution. It is the common link required when using Race Navigator's wired CAN adapters.
When do you need this cable?
-
Hard-wired CAN installations on RN ONE MKII or RN PRO.
-
RN CAN Adapter for OBD-II — straight or angled connector versions.
-
Vehicle-specific RN CAN looms for supported race cars.
-
RN inductive CAN adapter installations.
Do you need this with the RN OBD-II Plug?
No. The RN OBD-II Plug communicates wirelessly via Bluetooth and does not use this CAN cable. This cable is for the hard-wired CAN adapter route.
Compatibility
Designed for Race Navigator CAN adapter installations with RN ONE MKII and RN PRO. The correct CAN adapter or loom must also be selected for the vehicle.
Technical connection
Uses a Deutsch DTM06-6S connection carrying 12V power, ground, CAN High and CAN Low between the Race Navigator and compatible RN CAN adapter.
Not sure which CAN parts you need?
Contact Shifty Mods with the vehicle and Race Navigator model before ordering. A CAN installation should be specified as a complete connection path rather than buying individual cables without confirming compatibility.
