ZF LifeguardFluid 8 is the genuine ZF automatic transmission fluid specified for many ZF 8-speed transmissions. It is suitable for applicable 8HP45, 8HP50/51, 8HP70, 8HP75 and 8HP76 transmissions where ZF/BMW specifies LifeguardFluid 8.

The fluid is formulated to maintain the friction characteristics, shift quality and durability required by compatible ZF 8HP transmissions.

Important: LifeguardFluid 8 is not universal to every newer ZF 8HP/8P transmission. Newer Gen 4 and hybrid transmissions can require different fluid specifications. In particular, the current G90/G99 M5 hybrid transmission should not be selected from this listing based only on the 8HP name. Confirm the transmission code or VIN before ordering if unsure.
