A hard-wired OBD-II CAN connection for RN ONE MKII and RN PRO using an angled diagnostic-port connector.
The Race Navigator CAN Adapter for OBD-II – Angled Connector connects to the vehicle's OBD-II port and feeds CAN data into the Race Navigator through the RN 12V CAN Cable. The angled plug is intended for vehicles where the OBD socket location makes a straight connector awkward, exposed or difficult to route cleanly.
When should you choose this adapter?
-
Permanent motorsport installations where a wired CAN connection is preferred.
-
RN ONE MKII or RN PRO systems requiring vehicle data through the OBD-II CAN lines.
-
Restricted OBD-port clearance where an angled connector provides cleaner cable routing.
What else is required?
This adapter requires the Race Navigator RN 12V CAN Cable between the Race Navigator and the adapter. The 12V CAN Cable is sold separately.
Compatibility
- Race Navigator RN ONE MKII
- Race Navigator RN PRO
Not for RN LITE. For RN LITE or for a simpler plug-and-play installation, use the RN OBD-II Bluetooth Plug.
Angled or straight connector?
Choose the angled version where the OBD-II port is tucked under trim, faces an awkward direction or would leave a straight plug vulnerable. Where clearance is generous, the straight connector version is equally suitable.
