A hard-wired OBD-II CAN connection for RN ONE MKII and RN PRO using a straight diagnostic-port connector.
The Race Navigator CAN Adapter for OBD-II connects to the vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic port and feeds CAN data into the Race Navigator through the RN 12V CAN Cable. It is intended for customers who prefer a wired data connection rather than the Bluetooth RN OBD-II Plug.
When should you choose this adapter?
-
Permanent motorsport installations where a wired CAN connection is preferred.
-
RN ONE MKII or RN PRO systems requiring vehicle data through the OBD-II CAN lines.
-
Straight OBD connector layout where the plug and cable have sufficient clearance at the diagnostic port.
What else is required?
This adapter does not connect directly to the Race Navigator on its own. The Race Navigator RN 12V CAN Cable is required between the Race Navigator and this adapter and is sold separately.
Compatibility
- Race Navigator RN ONE MKII
- Race Navigator RN PRO
Not for RN LITE. For RN LITE or for customers wanting the simplest installation, use the RN OBD-II Bluetooth Plug instead.
Straight or angled connector?
Choose this straight version when there is adequate clearance around the vehicle's OBD-II socket. If the port location makes a straight plug awkward or vulnerable, consider the angled connector version.
